Cobb Veterinary Clinic Veterinarians
Our veterinarians are excited to be at Cobb Veterinary Clinic where they are part of an amazing family. They are committed to your animals whether it be a family pet, performance animal, or livestock.
Shawna Westmark, DVM
Dr. Westmark joined the Cobb Vet Clinic team as an associate in 2020. She is a 2016 graduate of Oregon State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She grew up in a small town outside Olympia, Washington, where she learned a love of animals at a young age. After graduation from OSU, Dr. Westmark pursued her passion for Equine Reproduction and neonatology by completing a Field Care Internship at Hagyard Equine Medical Institute in Lexington, Kentucky. She then spent the next three years shuttling between hemispheres as a seasonal Equine Reproduction associate. Dr. Westmark has spent her time at CVC expanding her small animal skills and the other areas of large animal medicine. She hopes to continue to grow the equine breeding program and is planning to get acupuncture certified in the next few years. In her free time, Dr. Westmark enjoys spending time with her dog, friends and family, cooking, and being outdoors.
Fernanda Guerrero-Brooks, DVM
Dr. Guerrero also loves all aspects of small animal medicine including preventative care, diagnostics, and surgery. She enjoys providing care to dogs and cats, and cherishes the bond between these pets and their owners. During her time in vet school she worked at a low-cost clinic where she provided medical care and vaccines to dogs and cats in low income communities. It was through this experience that she developed a passion for giving back to the community, and providing high-quality low-cost care.
In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, hiking, swimming, and relaxing with her husband Malik and her two pups, Cin and Zara. She is also an avid fitness enthusiast, an amateur baker, and a self-proclaimed foodie.
